Need repair manual

Which manual should i get I have a evinrude outboard serial number 60273E, j02633 It's a 60hp 3 cyl. I am new to this whole outboard motor repair thing but used to be an auto mechanic.Also is the fly wheel on top of the motor under any kindpressue like from a spring or anything?? or once unbolted can i just remove it? Any help will be greatly appeciated.<br /><br /> :p

No spring. Need a puller to remove (harmonic balancer puller). The whole deal is easiest w/ an impact wrench for the FW nut and the puller, otherwise you will need a flywheel turner (holder) [KD Tools makes one].<br /><br />You should also get get a shop manual.

Cap, you can get Seloc or Clymer after market manuals at NAPA,the tab at the top of the page<br /> amazon.com,ebay etc.

Since you were an auto mechanic, don't be tempted to try to pull the flywheel with a gear puller just because you have one. By personal experience I can tell you this is NOT a good idea. Use the right tool as noted previously. Good luck.
