Unit is older model # 60, the type that when you have too bleed your brakes it is adviseable you use a 2/4 & held down with chains and pump too bleed braking system.
Rated 6000 lbs
This unit was purchased few years ago and only used 4 times. It was installed on a old rusted trailer.
I should have taken the installers advice and not use trailer but was stubborn.
Was searching for a replacement trailer. but still used mine.
Taking boat too ocean which is an hour , I get too fishing area, was coming too a stop at bait shop . As I was stopping trailer fell too ground. ?????
Upon inspection
Tong of trailer broke away just before the point were actuator is bolted too trailer.
Leaving the actuator still attached too ball of trailer hitch.

Actuator was new , I junked trailer, Removed actutor and stored.

Years later actuator on my replacment trailer failed and rather than purchase a new actuator I installed my TItan 60.

Pumping away, with 2/4 & chains, fluid is not pumping. Able too move front part of actuator ( not easily ) but able too
move back and forth

Pictures on I Boats same model actuator, the bar were the emergeny braking cable attached is flat down pointed towards rear of boat. . Mine is up more towards front of actuator. Don;t know if this bar is supposed too have movement but mine is frozen in that position.
I am thinking when trailer broke emergency braking did what it was supposed too do
Can this be released? .

Moral of this thread,
I was lucky this rusted piece of crap trailer breaking away could have done serious injury too others, and in a second
change other lives along with mine.

The Emergency Breakaway lever is normally pointing towards the rear.
If it is point forward, the brakes are locked fully ON.

See the Manual. Page 6 Step #8.

Was the master cylinder stored dry? Very possible the master cylinder has failed from being stored. Did you remove the line from the rear of the master cylinder to see if fluid pumps out?
