thanks for all the prop help now i have a new situation along with the new prop it was recommended i change the impeller & as it made perfect sense i went ahead & bought an impeller. Took the lower end off,changed impeller etc, attempted to reinstall it & went well until the last inch or so went to turn the prop so the shaft would line up & fall in place only thing is when i turn the prop the shaft does not turn. I went ahead & removed it & put it on the bench. When i turn the prop or shaft there is slight rotation of the opposite shaft but minimal contact by hand will stop the rotation but i can freely & easily the opposing shaft. Did i somehow disengage one shaft from the other or do i have a problem in my gearbox. I attempted to post this earlier & think i goof it up if did post it once already i apologize for the repost. All your help is greatly appreciated
