Need some help!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there I recently bought a boat its a 1978 Mitchel 16 foot and is a centre console if anybody is familiar with the boat I would just like to know if I could put my 90 Yamaha on it. Its rated for a 70 and the transom is solid and so is the rest of the boat any feed back on this would be great.

best not to go over the rated size, due to liability if not actual safety. I especially wouldn't chance overpowering a 30 year old boat.
