Well as you all have already read of my dilemma. Like you all said I'm scrapping the original block due to not waning to risk anything. My optiions are these two. I can either buy a used block taht is in great shape for 300 dollars and spend around 800 dollar altogether, or I can spend 1100 dollars for a completlt rebuilt block with new pistons, crank, all the internal and all I use is my electronics and flywheel carbs and so forth. It comes wit ha 15 month warranty too and professionaly built and shipped to my home. The rebuilt one is the exact fit for my 1979 engine. Which option is the best for on down the road to aviod more repairs and so forth. Thanks for all and any input.
