Need to confirm year of 4 HP Johnson

Is model number J4RDHLCCS a 1994 motor for a Johnson 4 HP. I'm a bit confused with all the leters, thanks

That engine is a 1988 4hp Johnson. OMC's code is the word INTRODUCES whereas each letter pertains to a number ie I=1, N-2, T=3 etc etc. The "CC" in your model number indicates "88"..... 1988

after extensive research it is a 1988 . go to brp-evinrude parts& assess. engine diagram 1988 4hp and there it is.

damn they all beat me to it.
