Need to know how to replace a shift shaft on a mercury mariner 1993 115hp 4 cylinder

Hey I'm trying to fix my boat here. I'm trying to find out how to take out and replace the upper shift shaft (which popped out and is visibly bent out of the hole). I need a step by step guide on what i need to remove and screw out, and how to take the rod out and connect it to the lower unit, then finally, put it all back together.
