Need to know what prop should be on this boat

A friend of mine just bought a 1980? 16 ft. Skeeter bass boat w/1972? 115 Johnson on it, does not have power tilt and trim ( needs it ). It takes it forever to come out of the hole, it won't get above 3600 rpm's. when trying to come out of the hole until it (finally) starts to plane off, don't know what top speed is, but WOT is 4600. It has a 13 X 19 SS prop, 3 blade, needs work, don't know the mfr. Need to know what prop this boat should have on it................thanks.

a 19 or 17 pitch prop should work fine, you need to make sure your motor is running properly. I have a 110 on the back of a 17.5 bass boat and I turn 5800 RPMs at WOT with a 17 pitch prop. also is your boat water logged maybe and extra heavy or if the outside hull is rough it can make a real difference.
