Need to Know Year of 18HP Evinrude O.B.

I was given an 18HP Evinrude outboard that appears to be in good condition, but I can't determine the year in order to order a manual. Can anyone help. The S# is 18202R E04978. I don't see a model number. Thanks, love this site.

It's a 1972 model.18202R is the model number.

18202R is the model#, the R is just a production run #. The motor was made in 1972
