Need to replace my trailer winch

I just bought a 2003 Bayliner 185 with a karavan tariler. The locking mechanisim on the winch is bad so I am going to replace the whole winch assembly. I believe it is a Fulton winch with a 1500 lb rating. My boat weights 1900 lbs +/- (according to the dealer I bought it from) So my question is this, should I get a 2,000 lb rated winch and do all winches have the same mounting holes?

Here is a overall picture of the boat/trailer. It appears the mounting holes are about 2-3" apart under the winch. I have close-up pictures of the winch assembly on my home computer that I can post tonight if that helps.

This is the winch I am looking at buying:

I'm pretty sure on my winch both the mounting holes are oval sliders so they should line up. That like a real nice new winch you picked out.

Your new boat is really sharp!
