Hello everyone, i have to replace a piston, sleve, rings, ect on one of my cylinders, my question is.....

the other 2 are fine and have great compression, should i do anything with the other 2 cylinders or would i be fine just fixing the 1 cylinder?

Once you get it apart and measure everything you'll know. Doesn't matter how "good" it looks, it's what it measures that counts. Hard to imagine there wouldn't be any wear on a 35 year old motor.

My guess is that to do it right you'll be boring all 3. If it's just gonna be a quick patch job you'll do nothing to the other 2.

it is acceptable to repair just one, but just because compression is good in the others, doesn't mean you don't have cylinder/skirt damage which MAY become more apparent when you totally disassemble.
