need year (Goodyear Motor "sea bee")

Hello<br /><br />I just bought my dad a goodyear sea bee as he collects old motors. He has been looking through his books and can only find descriptions about goodyear sea bee motors. What I was wondering is if anybody could help us out with the horsepower and the year of the motor. The model is a 1G4 and the serial is 116213. We believe it to be around the fourty's but are unsure, any help would be greaty appreciated. Thanks

Your Seabee was made by OMC's Gale div in 1947-48. It is a 3hp.
