Thank you, Bubbakat! Where are you located in Tenn. I am thinking about buying this 1958 14' Performer with this johnson on it! Definitely be a project boat of my birthyear. I have never done this although I can get boat ,motor and traler for$450.00 What do you think?

The old Bigtwin motors are great motors. There are a few thing that will need attention if you get it. They are strong, reliable, and thirsty!<br /><br />What condition is boat in?<br /><br />Be cautious, if its got a rotton floor or transom, it will be a big job. <br /><br />I guess it depends on how much you want to put into it.
