mercury 150 1984. just cleaned carbs, put back in. on 6 gallon tank the engine would start fine and idle great. and run fine but bogs if i full throttle it. just yesterday. when i put it on the 2 big tanks i have on board. it would not go over 2200 rpm. had to have someone back there and prime the bulb every 5 secs. to get the engine to not bog. engine will then run fine after that. but has to have someone back there pumping. i switch from one tank to the other and one side preforms better than the other as well. but still both bogs the engine. is it the new tanks i just put in? it didnt do this when i ran it on the 6 gallon. though it did bog at full throttle. what can you tell me about fuel starvation? anyone ? help?
