Needing Yr On My Johnson 60hp

I got this motor on my old 1964 Lonestar and got the model and serial no. I need to know if anyone knows the year and make of this motor?(model no.VXL-l0S)

Thankyou very much,Now I was wondering on this 1964 Johnson,What would be the reason why it wouldn't get any spark? Cant seem to get it to crank over.Is this a magneto type in this yr or a generator? Thanks again.
