hi, i have wired up a faria 4 stroke tach to my<br />'69 v4 via the neg side of the coil.<br />i test ran it and it works fine.<br />question is - will the 400v switched from the cdi unit damage the tach long term?<br />i tried the tach pickup from the alternator but it read too high.(12 pole alt tach set on 6cyl)<br />Thanks
