Hi everyone.

I have an old friend with a half dozen old motors he'd like to clean up and sell. He's got about fourty years on me, so I'm the internet guy trying to track down info on value and parts availability. One of the motors is this Neptune that has numbers that don't appear on the charts I've found online. Anyone able to help on info? The motor has been sitting in the corner of a woodshop and is not clean and has a broken mount.

I think some pictures may be needed.As far as prices watch ebay for similar motors.
You should read the forum rules regarding selling etc. The guys at The Antique Outboard Motor Club Website - AOMCI.org can help identify the motors but don't ask about value.If you post some pictures here I'm sure we can also help identify what you have.
Please don't scrap them as they no doubt could contribute parts at some point and of course may be able to be restored.
