72 Johnson 65hp. won't try to turn over unless you put it in gear. Some one told me it was the neutral start switch. How would I go about fixing this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
The neutral safty switch is in the shifter box, it has two black and yellow striped wires from the switch,one connects to the ignition switch and the other connects to the harness,you have to open the shifter box.
