Posting this in the Restoration and Building forum .. because there IS a question

Going to the lake tomorrow, to camp. Decided that if the boat was up to it (never know what happens over Winter, eh?) I'd take it too and get out a bit.

Put a trash can under the motor, filled it up, primed the bulb on an inch of gas from last season (it didn't smell bad, actually smelled .. like GAS! heh) and hit the choke button. Turned the key and .. Started right up and ran like a scalded ape.

However, the floor isn't fairing so well. It was iffy last season and it's MORE iffy now. I'm going to put in a new floor, etc, but what kind of fiberglass do I need? Going to use epoxy. I'm newbie at actual fiberglass work (patched up a couple holes in the transom last year) and am not sure what I need to buy (besides the epoxy!).

I'm not going to fall through the floor, but I'd like to start aquiring floor replacement material (I'll probably buy the wood soon and let it bake in the hot garage to dry .. last wood I bought was almost dripping wet!).
