Folks,

Tomorrow, I intend on installing the bildge pump, getting the registration and insurance and running a trial on Lake Tarpon. Manual suggest a 10 hour break in pattern, so I am going to try and get the first two hours out of the way, not supposed to run wide open yet.

Thanks again to all, get anxious, I want to make sure everything is in order and safe before I get out on the water for the first sea trial.

Thanks again to all, hopefully some water shots comming.

Peace.

Ed.

Looking good! Make sure you have tools, life preserver(s) on, and fire extinguisher. Don't want to lose the whole project to a minor fire.

Follow the break-in for the motor. I know how tempting it is to run WOT but the bottom line is the motor is better off if you wait and follow the simple break in directions.

take your time and enjoy the ride....

Don't forget the plug ED. Cool you don't live far from my winter home, of gulf port. I'm just west of gulf port marina. It doesn't look good out today. Overcast. So what about a truck to take your boat places? Something like this I saw last weekend might do the trick.

Mark42,

Thanks for the heads up, I am making a list.

Tashasdaddy,

That is what everyone is telling me :)

Woody20,

That truck may be a little overkill, it will probably get stuck on the ramp.

All,

Ran in to some delays, did get registration and insurance today, still havn't completed bildge pump installation, not going out without it.

So it is looking more like Sunday or Monday for the first trial, don't want to rush at this point and reck anything just to get my feet wet.

Thanks again to all.

Peace.

Ed,

This truck is what I saw last weekend and he was going to the same marina I was. I saw him back it down the ramp, tires did not even come close to going in the water, and he had no tire spin pulling out. Even the coast gaurd stopped and watched him do his thing.

Folks,

Ok, still not in the water, got the bildge pump finished and installed with automatic float. Registration and hull numbers are on. New plate for trailer with current registration. Started getting things together for first trial.

Still missing Nav lights (not going out at night), rub rail, anchor roller, fish finder, bimini and probably a few other things I havn't thought of.

Peace.
