Hello All,
I would like to track the fuel consumption of my new 175 four stroke, so I thought I'd start a new trip on vessel view, each time I fill the tank. However, I use my boat on week-ends, and I switch off the battery when not in use.
I then realized that trip information is not saved.
Am I missing something?
Can one add a small rechargeable battery to save data?
My boat is a 1996 SkiRay 190: what do you suggest to be the most efficient cruising speed?
The previous engine was a 175 Optimax, 5 blade steel prop, and I used to run it at 35mph.
The new prop is only 3 blades, but it tops 50mph easily.
It seems that now the boat is running higher on water, so it might be more efficient.
Thanks for your advice,
ciao,
Gian
