new 2005 115hp Suzuki

My 2000 Johnson went to bone yard and I'm in the process of buying a new non-current 115 Suzuki four stroke. I'm saving about 2000.00 on the motor and it still comes with a 3yr warranty with it.

Does anyone have a reason why not to buy a New in the box motor that has been sitting around for a few yrs?

fuel hoses and impeller mostly will need replacing.

TD's right about the impeller but I'm thinking if the fuel lines haven't been used then they might be fine. HOWEVER - I'd be asking the dealer if he wouldn't just change them and the impeller out for you. Nothing like a leaky fuel line to ruin your day !!
