New Boat Blue Water Astro 17'

Introducing ourselves to this forum.. We (my wonderful lady and I) just took the plunge and laid out 5,000 for a very very good condition 1995 Blue Water Astro 17'... TONS of extra stuff, from boat to boat bungee's to wakeboards and tons of nice little details.. electric trolling motor, dual batts, solar charger, four speaker stereo, new seats, etc. etc etc....

It's the 4 cyl model.. runs strong and clean.. I'd LOVE to get a factory owners manual or copy of therein... Can't seem to find anything on line... and actually find little about these boats, other than Reinell took them over sometime after 1995.

This is our first boat, we're both retired and live on the Columbia river in a condo with a marina right in front of us (full view!). We bought the boat with a bit of money gifted to us by Linda's mom, who's name is "Needa" so we're naming the boat "Needaride" leaving off the "s" in my username because the forum would not let me put in "Needaride"

Any help or feedback from other Blue Water owners would be appreciated.

Worry about the engine/drive/controls. Go over to the engine forums and see the 'sticky' threads for manuals.

A boat is a hull. The engine/drive is where your brain needs to be focused.

Only have the shots that were on the craigslist for now... She's a beauty tho! Will post more pix probably later today once we get her in the water and up to our moorage..
