New boat few bugs 1996 Johnson 115

1) My tach works at low rpm but goes to 0 when I power up or go on plan?<br /><br />2) Twice the motor has trimmed down while on the trailer in trailer up position, as if I hit the trim down same sound and everything?<br /><br />3) Also last night the battery didn't have enough juice to start the motor after I'd used it off and on for a week?

#'s 1 & 3<br />Your rectifier may be going out. Time to trouble shoot it<br />#2 probably a bad switch either the on on the side of the motor or the one on the control handle
