Hello. For the last several months I've been reading this forum's entries and replies to my questions. As I've said before, I'm grateful for all the freely given information that I and others have been able to profit from. I did make a decision and bought a new 2007 Model 203 Four Winns boat, 19.5 feet long, Volvo 225 HP, comes with usual add-ons and a tandem trailer. It now sits in my drive way, used only for our shake-down and unpatiently waits for the weather to warm up - sometime around April. Thanks again everyone for your help. Gcais

It better be winterized. The dealer assured me it is and from what I can see all the coolant tubes are unconnected. I'll post pictures just as soon as I can figure out how to do it. The boat is now convered with frost but it still looks pretty! Thanks. Gcais

Get a good cover for it too! Don't need rain or snow in the boat!
Congrats!

The best Christmas Gift you can get yourself, or have someone get for you is a service manual specific to your engine and outdrive. Don't look for one specific to your boat as you probably won't find one. You'll be looking for a Volvo Service Manual. That manual will tell you what you need to do to winterize and tune it. You have all winter to study it carefully from cover to cover.
