New boat owner question

Hello,

I bought my first boat (Stingray 185 LX) with an I/O engine. Mercruiser 3.0L Alpha 1.(Have had Mercury 4 Stroke Outboards on other boats.) Want to do my own winterization after the season. I am starting to research it now. What items will I need to get. Have been trying to find a service manual on line with no luck. Only have been able to find up to 2008. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to iboats.

For winterization you can either run RV Antifreeze through the engine and/or just drain the engine, exhaust manifold, hoses, etc. I do a little bit of both.

As far as the boat itself, just get the water out of everywhere to prevent bad thngs from happening in freezing weather.

You did not mention the exact year of the boat ????
