i got a brand new boat not to long ago we have broken it in properly and everything however we still cant get it to the recommended WOT rpm range its hitting 700 rpm's below recomended high range.
it has the volvo penta 3.0 liter gs with sx outdrive and a 21 pitch prop .
do i need to go to 19 pitch the prop on it is from factory and if i go to 19 wont that give me the extra 400 or so i need and increase speed?
or is it some kind of engine thing needs tweaking?
heres spes: top speed: 42 mph Top RPM at WOT 4150-4200 trimmed perfect
checked with GPS system
