New Boat switch labels worn off

I just bought a 1991 Reinell 192s. Boat is in fairly good condition but the dash labels for switches and indicator lights are worn off. Can anybody shoot me a pic of what they are supposed to be? Or point me in the right direction where I might be able to find this info?
There are 6 switches and several lights above and to the right.
Any help much appreciated,
~Tom

Flip each switch and note what happens. Be sure that all the fuses are intact. I think the screw caps directly above each switch are the fuses for the circuits.

If you find that a switch is faulty, they are McGill's and a guy on ebay sells them in a store, Variety Surplus. The DPDT's and SPST's are sold differently; I can't remember exactly how. They were cheap enough, and spares are a good thing to have when they are hard to find.

Yeah.. I was poking around like that yesterday, and figured what most of them do. But I wanted to be sure I was getting it right. Seems like one of the switches does nothing, and some of the indicator lights go on for more than one switch position.

Look at the back side of the console, note the colors of the wires and trace them to the fixture. There are standard color codes for wiring boats that are generally followed; there are exceptions tho. Google Stingray powerboats - general faq and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'dc wiring',that should help you sort out the switches.

Re: New Boat switch labels worn off

No specific help other than to say that some switches may indeed to nothing. We picked up a '97 2032BXRL with a similar problem - nearly impossible to read switch labels. Turns out some of the switches are for options not installed on our boat - for example we have a WIPERS switch and no wipers on the boat. Have not traced the wires, but imagine they are stubbed off somewhere...
