New boat today need some info

Just picked up a 2000 searay 230 select with 7.4l efi engine and bravo 3 outdrive. The problem is the serial number cant be read on the top engine cover....where else would i find the engine serial number? I want to change all the fluids,filters,sea water pump,serpentine belt,spark plugs etc...

hey don when changing out the gear oil in the bravo 3 sterndrive the drain plug gasket is pretty much toast. can i use an oring on that plug or do i have to use the merc gasket? which of course i dont have one handy....lol

Use the gasket. An O-ring will squish out and NOT seal.
