New bolts?

Anybody know a place to get a complete set of new bolts for a 1984 85hp powerhead? I really don't want to resort to going down to the autoparts store and picking them out one at a time... I ask because I plan on replacing the gaskets and I don't like the idea of going through all that trouble only to reuse 26 year old bolts, most of which will probably meet the demise as soon as I put a wrench to them...

boats.net Mercury Force Outboard Parts 85 H.P. (1986) 856FC6A POWERHEAD Diagram $.78 Each.
They can be a B to get out, if you get them all out,I'd reuse them. They are only tourqued with 20# so they haven't been streched.
I've found tapping with a hammer helps loosen them.If it's been in salt water it'll be harder.J

Thanks for the tip, I actually tried there. I wrote down the sizes. I'll start with spray, then let soak. No salt water.

Re: New bolts?

Like Jerry said, reuse the bolts. As long as they are not badly corroded or rusted, they will be stronger than the aluminum they thread into. If you absolutely must replace them, buy grade 8 at Fastenal. You may need to buy bolts 1/8 inch longer. Some of those head bolts are an odd length.

If you replace the head gasket, run the engine for about a half hour to heat it up. This will compress the new gasket. When it cools, re-torque the head bolts. They will come up about another 1/2 turn to final torque of 225 inch pounds.

Thank you both, this site owes both you a great deal... and yes many of them seem either baddly rusted, busted off or just plain MIA. I allready planned on grade 8, that much I remember from autoshop..
