Three sailors come into port and are looking for a place to stay for the night.They head for the local inn and see the manager. The manager seeing that they are in uniform tell's them they get a discount and will only charge 5 dollars each.The sailors put up their 15 dollars and the bellboy shows them their rooms.After some consideration the manager decides that he should have given them a bigger discount, so he hands the bellboy 5 dollars and tells him to return the money to the sailors.The bellboy,still mad form not getting tipped decides to keep 2 dollars to himself and return 1 dollar each to the sailors.<br /><br />Now the sailors paid 4 dollars each times 3 equals 12 plus the 2 dollars the bellboy kept and the total is 14 dollars. <br /><br /> Where did the other dollar go?
