Bought a new BRP CDI.<br />Book calls for part # 0582285, box labeled 0582285, however on the pack, it is identified as 0582281.<br />Is this a problem, or is BRP just using old stock for updated parts?
Hmmmmmmmm.....582285 is superceded by 586800. But the 582285 will work. The number 582281 doesn't come up as anything. Does the wires and all fit? I don't have the latest update to part numbers so it could be a good number.
0582285 came from the BRP site.<br />It fits, and runs well, except for random sneezing below 1000 rpm.<br />Carb is coming off this weekend and being rebuilt, as well as a water pump.<br />I suppose I should put a timing light on it.<br />Anyone know how to check timing in a bucket?
