Today i got a starter to spin the 1983 merc 200hp over good so i did some compression test<br /><br />staring at the motor from the back<br /><br />90 100<br /><br />90 80-85 cant reemember<br /><br />90 90<br /> <br /><br />this is on a cold motor, all plugs out with throttle CLOSED<br />throttle down the motor does start,safety thing.<br /><br />wierd thing is that with all plugs in i got the top left # to read 120 ? then 90 with all plugs out, motor has not been started for over a year.<br />tommrow it will START for sure...bottom line is these # look good right ? thats what i think. most likey the # will go up after a decarb
