I just got a quote from about 3 local canvas shops and they all told me over 1,000 dollars for a bow and cockpit cover and that is way too much considering I got my boat for 1,000 dollars. I am going to go ahead and get the sharkskin fabric here from Iboats. I would like to know how the sharkskin holds up and how the fit is compared to a off-the shelf cover that I could get from west marine. I will be using it in a wet slip and would like to know if it would be difficult to get on and off. Also, how would one of these covers stay on your boat if there is no snaps? Thanks
