New floor

I now have a 1975 MFG 19ft. with the rotted floor removed. Foam still in place and appears O.K.. I have questions about type of plymood for stringers & deck. Also, are there any alternatives instead of a fiberglas deck? Where is the best source of info. on this winter project?

Ya the foam appears ok just bring up a piece with a shovel don't be suprised if there is water in it.<br />Stick the shovel in foam to botom of boat then bring back up about 1/2 inch and pull back on handle should bring up a big piece of good foam, but look where shovel compressed the foam water might dribble out.
