Re: New Gator Toys

After further research these things are authentic.

Well then, that settles it. I can now quit my job and make stupid looking lures to market to muskie hunters, they'll buy anything and still not catch a damn fish.

I will start by putting a couple feathers and a treble hook in the butt of my LadyFish moniker…….it’ll sell like hotcakes. :D

The ONLY muskie lure you’ll ever need….

The “WishICouldCatchaFish” Cranky Bait.

This beautiful lure comes in three models: Little Wish 14-incher and Big Wish 18-incher in a tapered baitfish profile, and Ladyfish 18-incher in a curvey body. This year, we introduced a double-jointed version. Each lure has a huge aluminum lip, which rests under beautiful bright red lips, wire-through construction, and three 7/0 Mustad trebles.

The true beauty of this attractive lure is in the hand painted finish and oversized lips and eyelashes. It takes more than 211 days to make a this gem. During that time, it receives 300 coats of paint and tough epoxy. Even traditional patterns can never be duplicated exactly. It's part of the charm and appeal of this artist’s work. They're all one-of-a-kind. "My lures will last far longer than I ever will," She said. Considering the complexity of the finish, she's probably right. Each bait is signed, dated, and numbered, and the owner receives a matching numbered certificate by the artist herself.

Many anglers feel these lures are too pretty to use. Although well suited as showpieces, their true home is in the water.

Don’t just fish for muskie, fish for trophy muskie.

Only 100 lures a year are produced, so availability is limited. The Little Wish is $375 and the Big Wish is $425 and the much sought after LadyFish is a mere $525.

Order yours today by contacting us at www://muskiesucker.com :D :p

I fear you've gone over the edge, GF, like a golfer with 200 clubs. :D :D

You will need a dinghy to tow behind the fishing boat just haul all that stuff.

Re: New Gator Toys

Hey, quit laughing at the gopher.
I've got one of the original gophers from back in the 50's. Mine is all brown.

They were popular back in their day.
I found mine hanging in grandpa's shed about 20 years ago. My dad says he remembers using it when he was a teenager in about 1952. Doesn't remember if he caught anything on it though.

The paddlewheel/legs are made of stainless and look almost new. The "fur" is some type of flocked velvety type of material, which is wrapped over the wood core, and then stitched up on the belly. I can't believe the material hasn't fallen apart over the years.

Lure collector at the sport show says it is worth $35-$40.

Yes, I have used it, twice. But it just hangs above the tool bench now, afraid it will damaged.

It looks like they work too. Click: Caught on gopher lures!

Hey why not? Sometimes diffrent is what it takes, just how many times do you spose a decent muskie on preasured waters has seen a Firetigger lure? Let the record reflect: Duck + Muskie = Haircut, I'm pulling for ya Gonfishn!

Ladyfish,There is so much I could say but won't ...You are one of a kinda......Lets just leave it at that. :D Great post though ;)

Re: New Gator Toys

yo roscoe... glad u didn't abandon ship buddy!
????

My recent absence??
Went walleye fishing last week, then
storm took out some of my trees, broken brake line on vehicle, and then my monitor smoked itself. Some things take priority, so it took awhile till I could go buy a new one. Got a nice flatpanel, easy on the eyes, but I don't think its quite as sharp as my old one.

And woke up today with a dead(still warm) deer laying against my mailbox. Dumb thing ran into a mailbox and killed itself?? No, neighbor hit it on the road, and it made it 0.0' before dropping. She was driving a late model Neon, took out the entire front half of the vehicle, definitely totaled.

All I can say Ladyfish is that once you catch your first musky your hooked..After that any other fresh water fin just won't do it for you anymore.. :D

Thanks Muskyone..Maybe coming back from up North I may stop at Hayward. I should be low on funds by then and won't be able to buy any new toys..
