Hows it going!? New guy here from central Tx. I've finally got ahold of a decent boat I hope. However I've got some questions about it, maybe some you guy might know. It is a 1990 Ski Deck has anyone ever heard of a Ski Deck being the make of boat? I've tried google but havn't come up with anything it's a 5.0 With a Cobra outdrive. The motor has been rebuilt and the outdrive is only a year old. My question is about the outdrive I've read on here that Cobras are a PITA to adjust. it engauges just fine and has brand new ESA's, but i can put it in drive and it sounds like it will go into 2nd gear "if thats possiable" If I back out of the throttle real quick and barely creep the throttle forward it goes into gear and moves forward no problem. it also has had the recall done on it. Any way onto the pictures! Here is what she looks like.

Welcome aboard KlrPanda: I don't know much about Cobras ... though the "recall" part sounds kinda' weird: OMC's been outta' business a while.

I don't know of a manufacturer called Ski Deck. What does your title say? Also, look on the capacity plate or back on the transom. There should be a number stamped on the boat. The first few letters of that number will give the manufacturer's code and you can look it up that way.

Not a bad looking boat for it's age. I will say that the white bilge blower hose on the port side should be down in the bilge, not coiled up top. It may have been up there while you were working on it, but just in case . . . Never heard of a Ski Deck brand, but that doesn't mean it didn't exist. Like southkogs said, look at the stamped in hull identification number on the transom of the boat to find out for sure.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! and Yes the boat is indeed a Ski Deck Deck Boat. thats what the title says anyway. i will check the transom plate and the tag in the boat this morning to see what the deal is. Thanks for the help in pointing me to the Cobra OD section also!

Little update again i've tried to use google but have come up empty handed. The transom identifer starts with ANP, Here is a pictures of it

along with the plate in the boat itself

Anybody have a clue as to who ANP is?

AH! Answered my own question! ANP is Anchor Industries they built boat starting in 1972 and went out of business. Cool this is this boat was built about 15 min from where I live, in Gatesville, Tx.

So you have an Anchor Skideck, lol. The marketing department in charge of naming both the company and the boat model should have been fired! Naming a boat company "Anchor" was their big mistake.
