New guy with a new project

have been trolling here for a while and decided to post my latest project.

I have a maxum bow rider with the 3.0 and wanted the fabled thick carb gasket but our dealers suck and I couldn’t google the part number.........

so I order a a 1/8 inch sheet of phenolic and made my own spacer. Worked out fairly nice! Gonna give it a test run Sunday and see how it goes. Wanted a better restart on hot days and better idle control. Lotta years restoring cars and making one of parts so I have it a go. It’s not a cnc milled piece but not bad for doing it by hand.
