New here w/1975 Starcraft American 15

Hello everybody!!I am new here and wanted to start off by saying hello. I just picked this boat up for 100 bucks- what do you think? She is a 1975 American 15 and the motor is an '81 Mariner 40. I am going to clean 'er up this week and will post more pics then.

Welcome! Cool little boat. We have a member here, Chinewalker, who has restored two Americans.

I went to PSU-Behrend and have a good college friend in North East and another in Harborcreek. Pretty country up there!

Give that kid a boat ride. Realy nice to have help with children,seems a rare thing now of days. Nice boat will be a fun one to spend time on . Note all my restro work is done in weather you do not want to boat in anyway. LOL Enjoy the season .

that windshield is cool - I have almost the same exact boat but mine is a '73 and has a solid windshield.

Craigslist, ebay, or marine salvage yards. I did the same for my Jupiter.

Thanks for the responses guys. I just upgraded my '73 American Starcraft to a walk thru three piece windshield. Anyone need the original 1 piece plexiglass one? I would rather not ship it I live near Allentown PA. Let me know if you want an original style windshield - I hate to throw this one away.
