Have a cracked block.... I'm gonna go ahead and assume that the heads are also cracked as they most always are so I'm looking for a long block. Here is all the info for the block:
98' vortec
Volvo Penta
4.3 GS PWTR
4110186634
3868942

My question are what years can I look for to match this block? Are there any roadblocks I need to watch out for specifically such as different flywheel bolt patterns or chaffered head/intake bolts? And lastly what vehicles this block was run in so I can pull one and rebuild it as a marine engine?

You would want a '97 (or for a safer bet a '98) or newer truck engine. Anything older that says "Vortec" does not have true Vortec heads. As long as it's a late '97/ or '98 and newer, your current accessories should bolt on with out a hitch.
