Hi there, I'm looking at purchasing a Mako 21ft Inshore with a 200hp Optimax. Base model boat, the dealer says 28k, and that's down from the normal 31k. Nada has this boat listed at 18,200 (low) 20,900 (high) with a 150hp and no trailer. The package I'm looking at for 28k has the trailer. This is a 2008 inventory that they want to "clear out." I have never bought a boat brand new. I would imagine the industry is affected by the economy like everything else. What would be a fair negotiating price on something like this?
Also, I'm trading in an older 17 ft sea pro center console 1992 model, but I'm not expecting to get much on trade in.
