New Member....and a new Boat!

Hi everyone, long time lurker, finally registered. Have spent months looking around online, and at boats , trying to decide on a boat. This has resulted in us doubling our budget, after reading ALOT on older boats. So.......we have found these 2 boats, and I think will probably go with one of these.SO much info out there for and against certain things, it gets very confusing. Any thoughts on these two would be app. .....Thanks.

I would go for the rinker you get more boat IMHO

Is this your first boat? If it is might be a little learning curve on one that big. Both nice boats, I have always liked Rinker boats myself.

Its my first boat of any real size, other than small fishing boats. That said I am a careful person, and have a friend who has over 30 yrs experience, who is going to spend a bunch of time with me.

Great, a friend with experience will go a long way, have fun and enjoy. There is nothing well almost nothing I like better than cruising down the lake on a hot summers day.

small world, I went to collage at Loyalist and call Napanee my home town.

Lived on station street,,, right across from the beer store, LOL. Belleville is right on the water, can't think of a better place for a boat that size. Get a slip and your in walking distance.

Cool but this thread got off topic it's about belleville's choice in boats and I think it's unanimous that he goes with the rinker

Looked at the Campion today, .........it was ok, but didn't "grab" me. Decent shape, but canvas was getting quite rough. I don't really like the "snout" pulpit either. Its off the list. I REALLY hope the Rinker is nice, as I love the looks of it. Looking at it Sat.
