Hi all,

I just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself before I start asking too many questions.

My Name is Martin, I'm from AZ but live in Spain, Barcelona. I am a used boat broker who likes to go sailing a lot.

So why am i here? I guess I was just looking for some info but answered the question myself already. However, I quite like the idea of a bit of chit chat about boats in the old language....

Well, I guess I see you guys and gals later and invite for a virtual round of BEER!

..... if the tavern owner doesn't mind my virtual money....

Yeah, Welcome aboard. I'd love to hear more about boating in Barcelona. Beautiful city. I Was there in 2002 I think. Loved it!! I am going to move this over to Dockside Chat which is a better place to say hey . . .

Welcome aboard, There are a few members that are also from Spain. Warhorse is one of them. He stops in from time to time. I spent a tour of duty in Rota. Great experience, sure would like to go back there sometime

Rota is nice. The army has the best beaches occupied.... Got lost there last year. They were not really friendly people though......

Loved spain , was there in the early 80's !! med side , i would have to look at the map to rember what city !! man the beachs were great and i couldnt belive the water, you could see 40 feet down !! it was great !!

What QC said ... I was in Barcelona over the Olympics ... definitely a fun time and a beautiful city! Welcome to iboats, the addiction.
