Is anyone out there? I know it's a super old post, but is it still active and/or same procedure to remove deck? i.e. split boat by removing rubber lining and screws, lifting it off the top? can I set it on the ground gently or do I have to build a truss. Also, keep in mind, and I know this is not politically correct, but I'm a girl whose last construction project was building a popsicle stick house in grade school I have no tools and no prerequisite skills but for will. By the way, it's a fiberglass tri-hull for lake use only. I know lots of people are not fond of the tri hull and say I should just get a different boat than to restore this one, but it seems like a waste of a good hull, or at least one without holes. Thank you in advance.

WaterloggedAmStaffy, moved this to a topic of your own.

Ask all the questions you'd like here. Will is a necessary requirement, but so ar some tools and a good place to work.

Dig into other rehabs posted here. Lots of good info already posted for how and where to start.

Good luck w your project
