New Mercury Owner (Possibly)

Had and old 60 hp johnson that has seen its last days and I am looking to remotor. I found a good deal on 2006 60 hp Mercury 4 stroke and before I jump I'm just trying to find out how well the new Mercury's are built and I figured what better place to find out. Some of the people I work with call them "black anchors" but no one had any experiences with post 1995 motors and that has been awhile. Any info would be great. Thanks.

I haven't heard of many problems with them, and I see them at the lake all the time running strong. Personally I like the two strokes though, nothing like the smell of blue smoke in the morning and no oil changes.

I'm a two stroke fan too, but this is the best deal I have found by far and I have to take it I think.
