Hey guys I have 2006 four winns 210 horizon that has the volvo penta 5.7 Gi-F engine. Last summer the crankshaft broke still not sure how but anyways since I have installed a new longblock and reinstalled in the boat. The motor will crank and crank but won't fire. I have a very weak spark coming directly from brand new ignition coil. I replaced the camshaft position sensor as I've run into this before with a spark issue. It didn't fix the problem. My timing is close as I can get manually with out the engine running so I don't believe that to be the issue. I feel it's either the ignition module and or distributor but that's just guessing by what I've read on forums and more forums. Any ideas if it sounds more like ignition module, distributor, timing off a little or something else? Also does anyone know if I have to use a computer or shunt tool to set timing on this model engine once I get it fired up? Thanks in advance for your help
