New motor weight issues.

I have a 1996 Trophy 2509 Walkaround. Unfortunately I need to repower. Can anyone give me information on maximum weight for an outboard. I am considering going with a four stroke.

What are you currently running on your boat? What is the Max HP rating for your boat?

Currently running a 225 Optimax. Boat is rated to 300 h.p. Looking at 225 four stroke.
