New Name for iBoats

It occurred to me this morning as I was looking for my next boat and items for the current ones which is a constant distraction, that iBoats should be called Boaters Anonymous. I wonder if there is any organization that handles this addiction? Fortunately, I'm in a perpetual state of denial.

Hmmmmm. "Boater's Anonymous" suggests where you go to get cured.

This is where you go to get your "fix". Maybe something like "Boater's Support Group" would better describe us.

That's scary. I've often sat here in the living room which is 27' long x 15' wide and 12'6" high and thought about installing an overhead door on one gable end of the room. Anything I have will fit. There's seats if you wanna watch TV, I could throw the cooler in to cut down on the fridge runs...

have you thought of making your living room into a living room/ showroom? even add a pool table, small bar.

The Searay isn't big enough for a pool table.

A showroom might suggest that I would actually part with my babies...can't have that. My wife hasn't been able to do it.

The Searay isn't big enough for a pool table.

It could be with a little work.I think there's a thread somewhere around here on just that very thing.

man it all started a year ago last spring ,I turned the corner and there she was !!! for sale, i swear she was winking at me,she was calling me every time i went bye,at least twice a day,she was right on the corner going out of my subdivion!! I seen other guys looking at her,she wasnt right for them, she keep calling me!!So i stopped,I seen the plywood over the deck,I Didnt Care!! I seen the rub rail pulled away from the bottom,it was about 2 feet,IDidnt Care!!! I took her home..

That was the start of the end for me!!!

Mother in law said [you know theres a boat out in the back barn] !! yep you guessed it .I had MBS sence then!!!


Now i have eday sending me boats listing,I am on iboats looking threw there listing,I see a boat on the side of the road ,I have to turn my head at least if not stop,[when the wife not in there with me....]

I have told her if i see a 23 foot Carlson,it will be in the driveway!!

Now she wants me to sell the frist one,HOW CAN I DO THAT ?? I HAVE MBS

Had an acquaintance once who lived in a converted barn (very converted). He parked his Mercedes 280SL in the living room. There was room for a decent size boat there, too.

I sort of thought you were saying every time you walked pass her she was trying to entice you but you world walk pass and the boat would win. But then I read on. After I posted it and re-read what I said it looks like I was insinuating something of a more unsavory accusation.
