Oil companies have been talking about these deep reserves in the gulf of mexico, perhaps they have finally found them.

And I thought all the oil companies were evil and would never find any more reserves.

Nope, it will be 5 years before "first oil" and 10 years before it really starts pumping.

It probably will only just keep up with the increase in demand.

Does not matter, no new refineries, not oil shortage refinery capacity or is that out now. I can never keep up with why we pay Exxon so much.

Then I suggest those people not say a single word about oil/gas prices!
Of course measures have to be taken to try to PREVENT and spill. Wake up. Don't take things so literal, people need to use some common sense.

And screw the carribou, drill! How many have been hurt by the pipeline that exists now?

You guys are so easy!!!!! Actually I attacked the environment this weekend myself. The white wings were thick as flys in the Valley and I protected you from being attacked by some.

If I were not a whiny tree hugger, I could have shot 200. Instead took my limit, drank a few beers, cooked and had a great weekend.

Killed a few kings on Mon. but decided to head back early.

The other joke is that he states it's a refinery issue and can't for the life of him figure out why he has to pay so much to Exxon. Who's stopping the building of the refineries txwinner, Hmmmmm?

None.. Thanks to the environmental wacko treedancers, who have banned them. They also see to it that we consume far more oil than we need, by their stand against nuke power plants.

Instead of whining constantly about how bad the right is, Let's hear what good the left has done . The left spends there entire waking hours slamming the right , why? They have finally developed the techniques to drill at the water depth needed to tap into the Gulf oilfield. If we could get that, the Wyoming/Colorado shale fields, and ANWR going, and build some more refineries, and build some more nukes, and.......who am I kidding. There is an unshaven hemp smoking female chaining herself to the Gulf of Mexico even as we speak....:'(
