new /old boat and motor

hey guys i just grabbed an old 16 foot boat its in hard shape but thats what i was lookin for it was made by the old chestnut canoe company back in 76 and the engine is a 4 cylinder 65 hp mercury around early 70 s is the motor going to be worth the hassle and the boat thx for any info

if you doing it resell ? no. it would have to be like new,it would be a ton of money. if you doing to use I would say yes, because you can get used parts at a much lower price
